The Fairmont Ballroom Remodel Project was scoped to replace the 15 large chandeliers located on the third floor ballroom. The old chandeliers measured approx. 9 feet in diameter and were replaced with a similar dimension fixture but the weight of the new fixtures greatly exceeded the weight of the old fixture. With the weights involved with this project given the use of large lifts and the fixtures on the 3rd floor of the building we had to have a structural engineer approve our lift plan and verify both the floor and ceiling could support the extra weight.

Despite these challenges we managed to finish this project on time with no impact to the rooms schedule.
